Doing My Best At The Moment
Yesterday I wasn't able to post but same story. Great day. Cooked dinner. I worked out at the gym and stayed in the sauna until I was dripping pretty good. I did a workout dance video twice.
These past two days I ate other than organic whole vegan foods and boy did I pay for it in many ways. My skin broke out so bad all over my face I look terrible! My skin was looking absolutely amazing recently eating minimal cooked whole vegan foods & high raw trying to be low fat as much as I could. I think maybe I will just stick to that a little longer.. I just can't seem to stick to all raw right now.
I was happy to find that I did lose weight this week even despite my 2 cheats!

Dr. John McDougall has documented amazing results with his patients eating a low fat vegan diet. I think the McDougall plan is a great way to transition to raw.

Good for you, Ginger! You keep going just as you are because there is not a single lifestyle healthier than the raw foods lifestyle that you describe in your intro! It's the top of the line diet/lifestyle for all of mankind.
Keep going raw Ginger! I've been doing this high-raw/100% raw stuff for such a short time compared to you, but I also tried giving up cooked foods cold turkey. While I found it easy to quit at first, the first time I caved in after being 100% raw for a while I paid for it BIG TIME from CRAVINGS! It was horrible. I am convinced from these experiences, and from what I have read, that cooked SAD food truly is addictive. You have been clean, and gone back to the addiction. At some point you have to wait through the cravings and then just go a day at a time and DON'T GO BACK! I know I am preaching to the choir. Just trying to give some support I guess.
