What day is it? lol

I'm tired! Been working on the new forum day & night for days now. I'm really happy with it so far even though it won't be perfect for awhile yet. Soon as I get the blog feature uploaded it's ready to go public! If all goes well that will be tomorow afternoon!

I am so tired of sitting at this computer! Couple hundred dollars & I don't even know how many hours of sitting infront of the computer later the board is still not finished! Ah but when it is...

I've been raw again for 7 days! I can feel my body changing shape! I lost some weight. Will find out in the next day or so how much.

Exhausted again lol

I can't believe i'm still awake! I have been working on my forum since I woke up this morning! I'm not even going to say what time it is right now :eek: But I finally got it working! :D I am playing with settings now and trying to get the blog feature set up. Then I just need to set a nice new theme and it's ready to go public! I don't think I am going to be able to import the posts from the old board though, looks kinda over my head complicated at this point. We'll see. First things first & that is to get it functional & perdy!

I had a Vietnamese Spring Roll today, an orange & a bunch of avo buttered corn with herbamere! Also leftover salad from yesterdays salad bar. Peny drink, coconut durian smoothie & a cacao d'arco tea. Yummy day!

Exhausted


Too tired to post really, but wanted to say that yes I am still raw!

Ate all kinds of good stuff today.. few bits of my daughters blueberry cheesecake at Go Raw Cafe, salad bar there, peny drink, avo buttered sea salted sweet corn on the cob! Good stuff!

I had a very frustrating day today though. I have been working on installing the new forum for my site and I just cannot figure out how to get it to install. The file I have to edit slightly is so beyond simple, I just can't get it to work for some reason. Been trying for a week now! Opened a support ticket, posted on the help forum, asked a friend for help.. it just isn't working. I am at a loss what to do. I paid alot of money for this thing and I can't use it.
Anyway, tomorow I am making Watermelon Pizza, I will post pics!
Played DDR on heavy mode for half an hour today.

Day 4

Had a good day today. The wraps came out too chewy, not as good as the coconut ones from yesterday! For wraps anyway. I ate avocado today. YUM. I am going to try having some fatty fruit but limiting my fats as much as I can still especially nuts & seeds. I think I may have to cleanse alot before I can eat any raw fats without gaining a ton of weight. I just feel like dammit avocado is a fruit and I want it!! lol We'll see how long it lasts. I keep trying to fight eating 811 even though I know it's the best for me.

I weighed myself at the gym today, I lost pretty much all the weight I had put back on going back to lots of cooked foods there for a minute. I am right back where I left off! 198 lbs. I was 195 I think. But that was with fasting.

I can tell I ate too much salt (nama shoyu) and not enough fruit. Head hurt a bit. Didn't have as much energy & wellbeing, still feel wonderful but I can tell the difference when I eat pure.

Vietnamese Spring Rolls!

They came out better then I expected honestly! I mean I knew it would turn out good but WOW these are GREAT!! I even made one of them a low fat version with an orange/mango tortilla! I think a banana & hot pepper wrap would actually go really good because of the sweetness with the spicy! I am going to play around with different 'tortillas' and sauces & fillings now! The possiblities are endless! I have prune tortillas & also an apple/tamarind tortilla drying now! I added a mix of this psyllium/flax & other stuff to the coconut tortillas so that's why they look brown.

Reflecting

Yay! Day 2! No cravings either! I made one of my favorite cooked foods for my family, the smell was soooo good, but I didn't want to actually eat it!

(this is actually May 24th)

I have spend some time today reflecting on what causes me to reach for cooked foods when I do. My number one issue is that I don't eat enough calories from fruits. When I eat enough fruit and then have a big salad for dinner, I do fine. My problem is that I don't like common fruits like peaches, apples, bananas, grapes or anything that I have constant access to. I would have no problem whatsoever if I had constant access to mangosteens, lychees, figs, cherimoyas, jackfruit & stuff like that! Heck even if I had constant access to good tangerines year round I would be ok! But alot of the played out nasty usual stuff just isn't for me. So then I end up eating only a bit of fruit and trying to live off greens which dosn't work caloricly and I crave fats and starches & cooked foods! For the past couple days I have not been tempted in the slightest for cooked foods or fatty heavy foods because I have a good supply of fruit I like. I still eat my greens every day but it's usually a salad and/or a juice.

Today I had:

cherimoya
oranges
salad (napa cabbage, spinach, cucumber, tomato, fermented veggies, dates.. dresing was a splash of sweetened nama shoyu)
wraps (kale, celery, fermented veggies, dates, tomato)

raspberry leaf tea

Back to 811

Today was officially day one back to low fat raw vegan! I cannot even begin to describe how phenominal I feel today. Words just can't do it justice. It is amazing how fast my body responds to the right kind of food (read RAW!). Everyone around me can see the difference too. I have so much energy and I get so much done! I find myself humming and singing throughout the day and just in such a wonderful mood.

durian/coconut smoothie
pennywort drink (peny leaves, agave, water blended with ice)

big salad (butter lettuces, napa cabbage, baby bok choy, spinach, bean sprouts, cucumber, red pepper, spiraled beet, celery... in a dressing made from yellow heirloom tomato blended with a dash of agave & nama shoyu)

Doing My Best At The Moment

Yesterday I wasn't able to post but same story. Great day. Cooked dinner. I worked out at the gym and stayed in the sauna until I was dripping pretty good. I did a workout dance video twice.

These past two days I ate other than organic whole vegan foods and boy did I pay for it in many ways. My skin broke out so bad all over my face I look terrible! My skin was looking absolutely amazing recently eating minimal cooked whole vegan foods & high raw trying to be low fat as much as I could. I think maybe I will just stick to that a little longer.. I just can't seem to stick to all raw right now.

I was happy to find that I did lose weight this week even despite my 2 cheats!

Stupid freaking cravings

I did fantastic today! Untill this evening again.. Man I feel SERIOUSLY ILL now. Yuck. It's so easy to say I will never do that again when I feel this bad, but dammit if I wont get huge massive cravings again as it leaves my system. I know what a heroine addict feels like. Seriously.

Tomorow is a new day & I am so determined to make this my permanent all the time way of life. SOMEDAY I will stay raw. Hopefully someday real soon... Please help me Universe. Thank you in advance.

Day 3 of 90 Day Challenge

I ate about half raw today.. I think there are going to be a few whole foods I allow just in the very beginning as I transition into this. I dunno.. I need to just go for it but I have SEVERE food addiction. :(

Anybody have any ideas on dealing with extreme food addiction? My only thought was to start growing my own highly mineralised foods to see if that would help..

Day 2 of 90 day Challenge


I did great today until dinner time. I had a baked potato & brussel sprouts. Other then that I ate salad & fruit. Went to China Town & got a durian, a jackfruit, a bag of mangosteens, a bag of longans, a bag of ranbutans, fresh ginko, chirimoyas, peny leaves and a bunch of other goodies! I already ate most of the mangosteens & longans. Yum.


I'm not going to worry about the cooked foods I had, I would rather give in to my cravings with whole plant foods rather then processed soy or something out of a box or bag. As long as I stay high raw & low fat for the most part I should be ok for now. I do want to try to be as close to 100% raw as possible though. It is totally the way to be, the results speak for themselves. So now that I got that out of my system, back on track tomorow!

Day 1 of 90 Day Challenge

If I stick with my plan here for the next 90 days.. I will look like I did in my picture! Actually better cus i'll have that raw glow goin on!

I had a GREAT day today! My mom really wanted an omelette and so we went to Blueberry Hill. I was all set to start my challenge tomorrow instead of today! mmm.. pancakes. So I sat down & looked at some of my favorites on the menu, we used to eat there alot once apon a time. I just couldn't bring myself to order anything and searched the menu for some sort of fruit plate instead! I didn't see it on the menu but the waitress said she could bring me a bowl of watermelon, honeydew & cantaloupe! I got it and the watermelon was rotten & old & flavorless. So bad I spit it out. The other melons were hard as a rock with only a few of the tips sweet & juicy. I ate what I could and left the rest. The waitress ended up taking it off the bill it was so bad. Now I know why the thought of eating 'just raw food' makes some people say they could never possibly do that! It does sound terrible if you think about the food they serve in common restaurants and even the traditional produce in some grocery stores is so bland and tasteless.

I was proud of myself though. I ate fruit for breakfast even despite the smells and temptation! I came home and cut open the best mango ever (organic too) so that totally made up for the sucky restaurant fruit! :D It was still nice to go out to eat with my family. It even rained! What a beautiful day!

Today I had about 1000 calories, stayed within 80/10/10:
Few bites of mixed melon
mango
orange
tomatos
few bites of peach/banana ice cream
cacao d'arco tea
veggie lovers salad mix dipped in sweet chickpea miso dressing
blueberry stuffed raspberries

Excercise:
45 minutes DDR on heavy mode, aprox 300 calories burned

811 & Back Again!

I'm totally feeling like going back to eating 811 and easing into being a fruitarian. I will be blogging each day starting tomorow May 5th.
